I was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent my childhood building haunted houses, redesigning my family's home, and hosting dinner parties.

During my Undergraduate years at The Massachusetts College of Art I discovered clay. Photography was my major but ceramics very quickly became a passion. After earning an MFA from the Yale University Graduate School of Art, I partnered with David Cafiero to create Cafiero Lussier Creative. This grew to include Cafiero Select Home Furnishing Store  and Interior Design Firm. Cafiero Select is named on Architectural Digest top 100 Architects & Designers 2019, 2020, 2021.

In 2012, I returned to clay after a 25 year hiatus; Reconnecting with ceramics at the Greenwich House Pottery, in Manhattan’s West Village. In recent months, as the world plunged into its new Covid-19 reality, time emerged as our most valuable commodity. How any one of us wishes to spend time was altered. For me, that alteration was the creation of Thom Lussier Ceramics (TLC) and making a full time commitment to hand crafting beautiful, soulful, one-of-a-kind objects. I chose to engage in the constant pursuit of beauty and in the Art of shaping vessels.

I split my time between NYC and Provincetown, MA.
